Défis des Chalets
Les Défis des Chalets, held in the picturesque village of Saint-Maurice, Switzerland, offers a range of trail races through forested mountain terrain. The longest race spans 42 kilometers with an elevation gain of 3,240 meters, taking runners on a challenging route through rugged landscapes and alpine trails. The 25.4-kilometer race includes 1,620 meters of climbing, offering a slightly shorter but still demanding course. For a more accessible option, the 13-kilometer trail includes 390 meters of elevation gain, providing an introduction to mountain running. In addition to these distances, there are kids’ races and a family-friendly trail event, making it a wonderful event for all ages and experience levels.
