East of Bern, in the region famous for producing Emmental cheese, this race starts and finishes in the tiny Swiss village of Gohl. The course passes through a range of terrain, over hills and valleys, past isolated farms, and along gravel roads, fields and hiking trails. It offers charming views as you climb towards the race high point at 1,300 meters, just before Hohmatt.
The race prides itself on creating an atmosphere far away from the everyday hustle and bustle of life, and maximising the pure pleasure of running in nature!
