Distance 53 km

Elevation 2100 m

There’s no official time measurement for this race, which starts near Bern and ends at the Burgistein Station. The goal is to go “back to the roots of trail running.” Run the Alps Guide Alister Bignell ran the Gluex in 2017 and said that that this low-key race had “no numbers, no course markings, and only one aid station” – and “a really runnable course.” The name “GLUEX” comes from Gantrisch Längenberg Ultra Extreme.

NB: We have estimated the 2020 dates based on last year’s dates. We have contacted the race organisers but not heard back yet. We’ll update as soon as we have more info. RTA makes every effort to keep this page up to date.
