Villars-sur-Ollon sits 800m above the Rhone Valley in the French-speaking canton of Vaud, Switzerland. Once a well-known ski resort famed for its amazing panoramic views of the Alps, it is no longer on many tourists’ ‘to-visit’ list, but who knows why? From a trail runner’s point of view, this place is paradise: empty trails, big views with airy ridge-lines and epic descents. Ultraks have capitalized on this untapped area and are offering three new races: The Marathon, The Roc and The Cham.
