Aug 28, 2023 - Aug 30, 2023 | 2 days - 1 nights |
Krissy Moehl is coming to Chamonix this summer for the 20th anniversary of the UTMB®. Krissy was at the start line of the first ever race in 2003, and finished as first female. She’s excited to be back in the Alps to share in the race celebrations, and to run the awesome trails around Chamonix.
Since 2003, Krissy has stood on the podium at countless prestigious ultras, and achieved impressive Fastest Known Times. She’s won ultras around the world, from Hardrock and Vermont 100 in the US, to Ultra-Trail Mount Fuji and Gaoligong by UTMB in Asia – plus another UTMB® win in 2009. In fact, Krissy has raced more than 100 ultramarathons. Krissy is also a running coach and the author of Running Your First Ultra, so she’s certainly the right person to give trail running tips on our two-day excursion, as well as being great fun to hang out with!

We’ll spend time with Krissy on a loop around the beautiful Aiguilles Rouges mountains alongside Chamonix. Our route includes some sections of the Tour du Mont Blanc as well as more remote trails within a nature reserve, where we stay overnight in a mountain refuge.
