36er+

The 36er+ Skyrace is a high-octane mountain event in the Valais region of Switzerland, with a course designed for those seeking an intense vertical challenge. The main race covers 8.4 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1,628 meters, testing runners with steep inclines and technical alpine trails as they ascend toward panoramic summits. The shorter 36er race spans 6.4 kilometers and features a significant elevation gain of 1,092 meters, making it a tough but more accessible option for those looking to experience the thrill of mountain racing without the extended distance and uphill. 

The 36er also features a walking version of the event for those who wish for a more leisurely excursion in the mountains.

For younger participants, the 36er children’s race is a brief yet exciting 880 meters, allowing kids to get a taste of competitive mountain running. This event also is focused strongly on community spirit, offering varied challenges for all ages and levels .
