Welcome to the Hub!

The Hub is a shared deluxe chalet that’s perfect for travelling trail runners. It’s a place you can learn, share and have great conversations about trail running and adventure. 

The spacious modern chalet is located in the charming village of Les Praz, Chamonix. It’s just a two-minute walk to the nearest bus stop and a 25-minute walk to the town center. 

You’ll find The Hub open each summer trail running season from mid-June to mid-September. For exact booking dates, please see our online booking platform.

Who You’ll Meet

At The Hub, you’ll meet like-minded people from around the world. Whether you’re a first-time visitor to the Alps just learning to trail run, or a sponsored athlete winning big-name races, there’s space for you at the Hub! You’ll get valuable tips about the local scene from the Hub’s Community Manager and from other guests. 

Run the Alps is also fortunate to be friends with some of the world’s top trail runners, so you never know who will drop by, either!

What’s At The Hub?

The Hub features a variety of rooms, with a huge lawn for stretching out after a long run, a deck for hanging out, and a Nordic bath to soothe achy muscles.

Individual amenities include:

  • Complimentary coffee from our friends at Moody Coffee Roaster
  • A welcome beer from our friends at Big Mountain Brewing Company
  • A welcome pack of trail nutrition from our friends at Trail Butter, Moonvalley, Tailwind, and Spring Energy
  • A welcome pack from Run the Alps, including trail running socks and buff
  • A carte d’hote (local train/bus pass)

At the Hub, you’ll also find:

  • Complimentary bikes to facilitate getting around Chamonix
  • A lineup of the latest gear from On for you to try out, including running vests and shoes
  • An extensive trail running library
  • Run the Alps gear available for sale at discounted prices for guests only
  • Yoga mats, foam rollers, and other pre and post-run aids

Looking for Accomodation for UTMB® Mont-Blanc or Mont-Blanc Marathon?

The Hub Chamonix is a great place to base yourself for training and competing in one of the many Alps trail races in Chamonix and surrounding areas. Not only are you near the trails, but you’ll be able to discuss routes and race tactics with other fellow-minded travelers.
