Getting to the Hub

The Hub is located at 232 Chemin de l’Ordon, 74400 Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, France (map).

1. By Car

The Hub can be reached easily by car from Switzerland via Martigny, from Italy via the Mont Blanc tunnel and from the rest of France via the A40 Route Blanche. There’s limited parking at The Hub, which needs to be reserved in advance.

To reach the parking, ignore the GPS if it tries to take you down a private lane with a barrier. Instead, turn off the Route de Bouchet onto the Route des Liarets. After 200m, turn left onto Chemin de l’Ordon (marked “Chemin Privé”). Then at the T- junction at the end of the lane, turn right. The chalet is the first on the left.

Additional parking is available throughout Chamonix. See here for details.

2. By Train

The Hub is just a 10-minute walk from the Gare des Praz SNCF Train Station, or a 25-minute walk from the main Chamonix train station.

Chamonix can be reached by train from Zurich, Paris, and Geneva. You can see train schedules here if traveling within France. See here if you are arriving from Switzerland.

3. By Bus

The Hub can also be reached by bus. It’s just a 2-minute walk from the local bus stop L’Arveyron or a 45-minute walk from the main Chamonix bus station.

The main station is served by a variety of bus services, including Ouibus, Flixbus, SAVDA, Transdev, BlaBlaBus and others. For the local bus timetable, see here.
