Ovronnaz – Cabane Rambert

Ovronnaz-Rambert starts in the small, high mountain village of Ovronnaz, and goes steeply uphill, finishing at Cabane Rambert, a classic Swiss Alpine Club hut. The route leaves town on a paved road, turns to dirt, and finally trails as it climbs steep past pastures and alp scenery, to finish with a remarkable view of the Valais alps, and the nearby Grand Combin. From the hut, racers walk back to Ovronnaz after the event.  There is also a children’s race and women’s race.
