The Trail EDF Val Cenis offers trail runners the chance for a journey through the rugged landscapes of the Vanoise National Park. Held in the picturesque Val Cenis, a mountain resort known for its alpine views, this event features several distinct courses designed to challenge trail runners of all levels.

The flagship event, the Trail Noir, is a demanding 73 kilometers with 4,271 meters of elevation gain, taking runners through the peaks and ridges surrounding the Mont-Cenis lake. This ultra-distance race tests participants’ endurance and resilience against the backdrop of one of the most majestic regions in the French Alps.

For those seeking a slightly shorter yet still challenging race, the Trail Rouge offers 58 kilometers with 3,440 meters of elevation gain. This race provides a panoramic route through alpine meadows and technical trails, showcasing the rugged beauty of the region.

The Trail Bleu is a 43-kilometer race with 2,474 meters of elevation gain, designed for intermediate runners who wish to experience the best of the alpine landscape while tackling challenging terrain and technical sections.

The Trail Vert, measuring 29 kilometers with 1,677 meters of elevation gain, provides an excellent introduction to trail running for newcomers, offering a shorter but still demanding course with big views.
