Really enjoyed this trip. The logistics were absolutely great! Everything happened as we were told and bags always arrived. Our coldest and wettest day was coming into Les Chapieux. We had to wait many hours for the taxi to Bourg St. Maurice, and no cell phone service to call and reschedule. The restaurant staff did call for us but they were only able to move the time up a little. the taxi pickup time is definitely something to think about and try to get closer to when you might arrive.

Advice
get a waterproof pack cover or stuff your pack with a garbage as a liner. I had enough plastic bags to keep my gear dry but it is something that is easy to forget.
Highlight
Finally seeing the mountains, we had lots of clouds and fog hiding them for much of our trip. Also seeing ibex!
