Salomon Run the Alps Glide Max Trail Running Shoes

 

Two years in the works, we’re excited to be able to offer one of the best trail running shoes available, anywhere— and with a unique Run the Alps design, too!

The Run the Alps Salomon Glide Max offers comfort without losing the all-important ground feel. 

Our friend Max King put it this way: “It’s that kind of cushy, plush feel that you really want for easier training days and ultra long efforts. It’s perfect for people that want something a little bit more generous in terms of fit, but also some soft cushion under the foot to put in a lot of miles.”

This is the most cushioned trail running shoe in the Salomon lineup, with a comfortable upper that provides plenty of foothold. 3.5mm lugs perform well on dry and wet pavement, dirt roads and trails. You’ll notice our smile-inducing Run the Alps icons on the shoes. And those contour lines? They’re authentically Alps, right from the Possettes, one of our favorite trail runs in the Chamonix valley.
