Description

Gruyère, the mountainous region to the East of Lausanne, Switzerland, is best known for its cheese – often eaten melted as Fondue. However, the region is great for trail runners as well as cows, and the Gruyère Trail began in 2017. On the program (before the double cream and meringues!) Three trail distances are scheduled to leave the beautiful and quiet village of Charmey: 6am for the 54km; 8.30 am for the 24km; 10h for the 11km course.
