Humani’trail Les Diablerets
The Humani’trail includes three trail races on the same day, with a very worthy premise: 100% of the proceeds benefit disadvantaged children in Nepal, through the building of schools and the education of thirty children.
The races start and finish in the village of Les Diablerets nestled at 1200m, with plenty of open land that offer far-ranging views of many of the larger mountain chains of Switzerland, including the Dents du Midi and the Mont Blanc massif.
Each race passes through a number of small villages en route, and is well-supported with aid stations and spectators. The 50 km Trail du Grand-Bharal goes towards the Glacier des Diablerets and the linguistic border with the Bernese Oberland. The Trail de Rhino offers a resaonable climb of 1700 m over 27 km.
The names of the races changed in 2019, but rest assured, the challenges are now greater and you will discover more of the stunning landscape and higher alpine pastures.
Food trucks and a welcome return to Les Diablerets makes this day well worth attending.
Humanitrail also includes a Yeti Trail 1 or 2 km kid’s fun run.
