Description
This is a brand new race and the “little sister” to the Stairway to Heaven race that has been a popular concept and well attended race for years. This new vertical race sets off from Cassarate, close to Lugano in the Italian-influenced region of southern Switzerland. It climbs the 600m along a funicular railway track that leads to the summit of Monte Brè. After the race you can either ride the funicular down, or enjoy the views of Lugano as you walk down at your own speed.
