Description
This is a new race organised by the Ski club of Grône, in the Swiss Valais, close to the town of Sierre. There are 2 mountain running courses that take runners on a journey up through the wooded sides of the valley above the picturesque small village where the race starts. This is a typical Swiss mountain race and part of the local series of races, the Valaisanne Cup. What’s more, when you’ve finished running, raclettes and grilled meats will be served up by the race organisation to replenish all those burnt calories.
