Description
Like many trail races across the Alps, this race was organized to bring more trail runners to a relatively unknown area. It has since gained national trail running notoriety, not only for it’s world class trail running but also it’s celebrations and awards ceremonies.
The 73km figure-of-8 circuit has 4300m of elevation gain and takes you up to 2000m above sea level, giving you great views of the Gran Paradiso range.
The 38km race has a skyrace-style route that takes runners on a circuit to and from Monte Soglio.
The shortest course is 16km and stays in the beech, birch and chestnut woods below Monte Soglio. The race also offers a “non-competitive” entry lelvel, and it is open to accompanied minors.
