This is my second time running in the Bernese Oberland. It is a wonderfully unique area, with a combination of tourist attractions and an insight into life in the alps for the locals. The trip was perfectly planned, all the bookings worked out, the app and navigation were terrific. I ran with my 18 year old son and we loved every minute of it.
Why
To be able to spend a week in the mountains trail running with my teenage son at our own pace.
Advice
There's a lot of downhill!! Prepare your legs!
Highlight
Coming over ridges and having yet another incredibly expansive view appear ahead! Running down the ridge from the Eigar Glacier was fantastic fun.
