La Jonction

This route packs in a significant climb from the bottom of the Chamonix Valley up to La Jonction, where the Bossons and Taconnaz glaciers split. You’ll get stunning close-up views of the glacier—the longest icefall in Europe—along most of the route before coming to a unique summit beside the granite “aiguilles,” and creaking glaciers.
