By popular request, we’ve created a version of our favorite Run the Alps Patagonia hoody, using our new “icons” design on the back, showing off some of our favorite things found while trail running through the Alps.
This super lightweight Capilene hoody goes everywhere with us, whether we’re ticking off a high alpine run in the Berner Oberland, or relaxing on a Swiss SBB train between Zermatt and Grindelwald. It’s cozy enough for comfy chilling out, but doubles nicely as a thin technical layer on a run, or keeping a chill at bay when stopped at your local mountain hut—whether it’s the Refuge Albert Premier in Le Tour, France, or Betty Bear Hut in the mountains outside Leadville, Colorado. Set-in sleeves make for easy movement and a comfy fit. Deep hood provides additional coverage from the sun. The hoody’s lightweight stretch fabric moves with you and never seems to bind.
Models: Our husband and wife team of Mike Ambrose and Steph Lefferts modeled this hoody in Chamonix. Mike is a Run the Alps Ambassador and works at Salomon, in Annecy, France, as the Product Line Manager for trail running shoes. He’s busy designing the trail running shoes of the future! Steph is Run the Alps’ Tour Manager, responsible for most of the inner-workings of the company, including hotel bookings, guest transportation, and guide scheduling.
